Comfort & Feel

DreamCloud is very impressive.  Once opened you will immediately find that the DreamCloud is not just another bed in a box option.  A lot of though has been put into the design of the DreamCloud.

When you 1st lay down you conform in immediately and feel very good support for your lower back.  The firmness is around a 6-7 depending on weight.

DreamCloud will work fantastic for combination sleepers.  It works great in all sleeping positions.

Lighter sleepers will not sink in quite as far as someone heavier but me at 115lbs I still felt support and body hug.  Some hybrids I don't feel like I can sink in enough for my weight. You feel very supported and you feel very good pressure relief on the DreamCloud however.  This is one of, if not the most comfortable hybrid I have ever slept on.

The firmness combined with the design makes the mattress have a good amount of bounce still so it is very easy to adjust positions or roll in and out of bed.

The DreamCloud has 8 layers involved in the design and they all will perform well for all body weights.

Motion Reduction

DreamCloud uses an Independent Wrapped Pocketed Coil unit.  The coils will react independently so you will experience much less motion compared to a traditional mattress.

In our tests we found DreamCloud to perform great in this area.

So if you have a partner or big dog that likes to move around a lot, you will not feel that movement nearly as much as an old school mattress.

See our motion transfer video above to see it in action.

Temperature

The DreamCloud uses Gel Infused Memory foam and Latex primarily for it’s premium comfort foams.

Gel memory foam sleeps much cooler than regular memory foam.

Latex does not trap heat hardly either and the latex is aerated which allows good airflow

As mentioned above DreamCloud has a coil unit instead of a foam core that helps allow airflow much better than a solid chunk of foam.

Also when laying on DreamCloud the amount of body hug and sinkage is not overwhelming so heat is trapped less.

Heat should not be a problem for most people on this mattress.

Edge Support

DreamCloud uses a good durable coil unit and then it is also foam encased around the edges.

It uses a very dense foam rail that rund around the edges.  This foam is high density and provides amazing edge support (one of the best).

So sitting on the edge and laying on the edge you will find the DreamCloud has exceptional edge support.

Overall Value & Recommendation

We would recommend the DreamCloud to anyone looking for a mattress that is not looking for a all foam mattress.   If you are considering a coil or hybrid mattress and are ok spending $1199?queen this is a must try or at least you should strongly consider it.

DreamCloud has some of the highest quality components and design features of any mattress we have come across and rivals mattresses in stores that cost $3000-4000.

So if you are considering a hybrid and are looking for a medium to medium firm feel you will most likely be extremely impressed with this mattress in terms of feel and build quality.
